Eidsvoll Bygdetun

Almost a month ago we went to the season opening of "Bygdetunet". It is a collection of old houses and items from times long gone.

This is a photo from the end of K's Cultural-school performance this year. She is over at the right. Here they are singing - but she takes dance lessons in addition to playing the piano.

Sand Jars

Over the years we have been taking with us sand from different beaches we have visited.

A few weeks ago I painted and decorated some of the jars so that it easier to see from where the sand is.





This is a closeup of sand from Phi Phi Leh in Thailand, known from the movie "The Beach".

Anguis fragilis

This is not a snake but a female lizard. In Norway it is known as "Stålorm". In English it is known as Slow-worm or Blindworm.

Coming from the Northern parts of Norway I am not familiar with snakes and its likes, but K and I found this one in the forest behind our house.
